Burns Lake makes 2017 Canada Day memorable

It’s safe to say that Burns Lake did not disappoint with its celebration of Canada Day. The touching event started with a pancake breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50, followed by an opening ceremony with guest speakers and the Lakes District Community Choir at Spirit Square. The event also included a ‘best pie contest’ and a kayak race.
