Burns Lake Community Forest Ltd. board member Wes Sam (L) presents Louise Fisher of the Rose Lake Community Club with a cheque for $5,000. The funds will be used to upgrade the Rose Lake Community Hall’s kitchen. Since its inception, Burns Lake’s community-owned forest corporation has donated more than $3.3 million to local community groups.
