Local resident Kristy Bjarnason has taken home a brand new wood sculpture after winning a raffle intended to help the Lakes District Food Bank. Approximately $300 was raised through the raffle. Southside artist Bob Morgan, who carved and donated the sculpture, recently did a chainsaw carving demonstration outside of Outdoor Adventures in Burns Lake. Morgan said he decided to donate the sculpture after he heard that the food bank had been broken into and vandalized. The sculpture is worth about $500.
