This week the Lakes Animal Friendship Society is hosting its community animal care event, which provides veterinary services for low-income families in the Burns Lake area. The Burns Lake Veterinary Clinic and Vet to Pet Mobile Services were contracted to help out. The event was held at the Margaret Patrick Memorial Hall on May 8 and 9, and is being held at the Burns Lake Band Gathering Place on May 10 and 11.
