Ballerinas perform Christmas classics

Burns Lake’s intermediate ballet class performed ‘The dance of the sugar plum fairies’

Burns Lake’s intermediate ballet class performed ‘The dance of the sugar plum fairies’ from Tchaikovsky’s ‘Nutcracker suite’ – a classic Christmas ballet – on Dec. 10 at the Lakeside Multiplex. The baby ballet class also performed to the song ‘Twinkle twinkle little star.’ Ballet instructor Sandra Brocklebank Elrick said the ballerinas practiced diligently for their performance. “I’m very proud of these girls,” she said.
