Burns Lake student Adrienne Bender is one of 47 quilters competing in the Canadian Quilters’ Association’s 2017 youth quilt challenge. Inspired by her grandmother, Bender only started quilting this year. May 10 is the last day that the public can vote for her quilt, which is called ‘Frosty memories’ and is listed as number six at www.canadianquilter.com.
