Wally was born December 12, 1914 in Rosedale, BC and passed away peacefully in his sleep November 28, 2009 in the Burns Lake Hospital at the age of 94.
Wally enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, camping with family and friends and exploring the back roads on many quiet "Sunday drives". He took up many hobbies some of which included hooking rugs and making woodcraft projects. Many hours were spent around the kitchen table playing a good game of cards.
Forever loved and sadly missed. Wally is survived by his son - Wayne (Connie) Somers, daughter - Carolyn Somers, step-daughters - Alta (Nathen) Lenard, Wendy Lowe,
step-son - Steve (Linda) Orr, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Wally was predeceased by his loving wife Louise in January 2000. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
