Garry Allen Robinson

February 18, 1944 - November 26, 2008

In our thoughts and our hearts

We were always together

Never apart.

Garry passed away suddenly on November 26, 2008. He made a valiant effort to stay, but was not to be.

He was predeceased by his only daughter Kimberly in 2005.

He leaves behind his living wife Heather, sisters Carol McKnight (Bruce), Patricia Bigelow (Barry), Brother Ronnie Robinson, Sister-in-law Darlene Nelson (Andrew); and two wonderful grandchildren Kheylan and Ty Scott. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Garry had a varied career. He joined the International Union of Operating Engineer in 1965. His work took him all over B.C. from Vancouver Island, Yukon, Whistler, Alberta, the Coal Fields, the "Coke" - the last fifteen years he stayed close to home working for Decker Lake Forest Products and then Beaverbrook; on the graders. He enjoyed his work, his home and his family.

Funeral services were held at the United Church in Burns Lake on Saturday, November 29, 2008.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free

If my parting has left a void

Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss

As yes, these things too I will miss.

Lift up your heart and share with me

God wanted me now, He set me free.
