After a lengthy illness, Pat Debolt passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on March 10th, 2017.

Pat raised 8 children while following her husband Ray in his career with Canada Post which initially brought them to Burns Lake in 1972-75 and then to the Yukon for 10 years. Pat and Ray retired in Burns Lake in 1991. They enjoyed many years of gardening, hunting, fishing and simply enjoying the natural beauty of the passing seasons living on the edge of the lake. They were also active in local churches and often hosted bible study classes in their home.

Pat is predeceased by her husband Ray and her sons Dan and David. She is survived by her son Tom and daughters Linda, Ruth, Lois, Lee Ann and Vicky.

The family especially wishes to acknowledge the numerous individual caregivers at The Pines care facility who so effectively fulfilled the role of family to Pat over the past 3.5 years.

She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by this extended family who have shared so many memories regarding Pat’s spunky demeanour and love of music and song.

Based on Pat’s lifelong faith she is now resting with the Lord. She would not want those who loved her to be troubled by her passing but would simply remind us all to say a prayer of love for each other and be thankful for the love of God and those that hold you close.

A memorial service will not be held in Burns Lake.
