I would like to endorse the letter to the editor regarding the messed up intersection at Hwy. 16 and Francois Lake Drive by Albert Gerow. Albert has hit the nail right on the head; I do not think anyone could put it more succinctly.
All you need to do is follow in the ferry traffic in the morning to see want percentage of vehicles turn left right off the bridge, many of which head left right across the CN tracks. This has created extra traffic along this road, causing increased maintenance issues and the need for new stop signs.
Let’s get real and restore the intersection to the original design. And maybe send the bill to the person that recommended this mess.
