The community had a great time watching the senior boys basketball team of Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) play against LDSS alumni on Dec. 22, 2016. The event, which was sponsored by Overwaitea, School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) and Strimbold Law, collected community donations totalling $850 plus two large bins of food for the Lakes District Food Bank. Score alumni 79-42.
