The Burns Lake Band’s lodge, which was manufactured in Britco’s manufacturing facilities, is now being completed in Burns Lake.
Once completed, the 42-room lodge will include an exercise room, a business centre, a breakfast café and a two-storey entrance lobby that will display cultural and historical photographs and art.
The $8-million project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The Burns Lake Band has been asking residents to help design the logo of the new lodge. People can enter the band’s logo contest until Aug. 10 for a chance to win $1000.
