The efforts and achievements of the Burns Lake business community were recognized on Oct. 15 during the annual business excellence awards, organized by the Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce. This year the event took place at the Tweedsmuir Rod and Gun Club and awarded 11 winners. Lakes District Air Services, winner of the ‘tourism excellence award,’ were not in attendance. The fabulous dinner was catered by Grapevine Pub and Bistro.
