Greg (L) and Jack Brown, owners of the landmark Burns Lake Home Hardware store, received a plaque from Village of Burns Lake Mayor Luke Strimbold (R) commemorating 87 years serving Burns Lake and area. The Brown family store is the oldest, continually running family-owned business in Burns Lake.
The award was presented during the Burns Lake 90 year anniversary gala on Oct. 19, 2013 at the Tweedsmuir Park Rod & Gun Club.
