An Aboriginal Forestry Contractors 'Pathway to Success' workshop was held at the Margaret Patrick Hall last week.
The initiative is a partnership between Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association, Central Interior Logging Association, Lheidli T'enneh Band, Prince George Aboriginal Business Development Centre, Carrier Sekani Tribal Council and Natural Resources Canada.
The workshop was for locals interested in the forestry sector and participants were provided with support, knowledge and skills necessary to develop their own business in the forestry sector.
