Baker Airport’s runway resurfacing project has already begun. LB Paving Ltd. started the project on July 26 and expects to finish the project this weekend, depending on the weather.
While the resurfacing is taking place, Geoscience B.C. has moved its aerial survey’s base to Smithers and no air traffic is allowed at the Burns Lake airport.
