A 'Day for Drey' fundraiser was held last weekend at the Island Gospel Church.
A bake sale, garage sale and silent auction were held in an effort to raise funds for four year old Drey Gudjonson, who recently sustained a brain injury and is undergoing medical treatment in Calgary.
The fundraiser finished up with live music and silent auction event at the Royal Canadian Legion branch #50. The community pulled together to raise $13,600 for the cause.
