Burns Lake Search and Rescue are the recipients of a 1999 International 4100 truck. The truck was owned by Dave and Stephanie Humphrey of Fort Langley, who decided to upgrade to a newer model and rather than trade in their truck they would give it away to a deserving search and rescue group in B.C. The Burns Lake Group were successful in their bid. Previously members of the crew would use personal vehicles on the job. The truck will allow the group to have a mobile command post and will be used as a first response vehicle.
