Burns Lake RCMP and firefighters help Red Apple with toy drive

The goal is to get every child in Burns Lake a gift for the holidays

Red Apple is putting on a toy drive in Burns Lake on Dec. 9. The goal is to get every child in Burns Lake a gift for the holidays. Members of the Burns Lake RCMP and the Burns Lake Fire Department are helping collect toy donations for the Lakes District Christmas Hamper Program. In addition, Red Apple is going to write a cheque for 10 per cent of the total toy sales on Dec. 9 to the Lakes District Food Bank. RCMP officers and firefighters will be collecting donations until 7 p.m. The store closes at 9 p.m.
