The Burns Lake Rotary Club has been working on giving the Burns Lake Cemetery a face lift.
The entire project will be over $20,000. So far the club has purchased 35 shrubs and 10 trees that the Village of Burns Lake planted.
Last week local Rotarians had a work bee and sanded down and re-stained the bench located in the cemetery, plus walked the entire grounds and picked up garbage and cleaned the info shed. The club still has lots of work ahead of them and are aiming to have the project completed by the end of July.
