Burns Lake Rotary Club youth citizen

Richard Vossen from the Burns Lake Rotary Club presented local youth Kaitlin Bysouth with the Burns Lake Rotary Club’s Youth Citizen of the year award during the Canada Day celebrations at Spirit Square.

She was chosen for her involvement in the community including volunteering at the William Konkin Elementary School winter carnival, volunteering at the Trade Fair, the Pines and Heritage Manor.

She has assisted with the Jack-Rabbits ski program as an assistant instructor and donates all her tip money she collects by working at Redfern’s Coffee House, to children in Peru.

She also represented the youth of Burns Lake during the presentation to the special committee on timber supply.
