Burns Lake Search and Rescue (SAR) held an outdoor open house at the Lakeview Mall on May 11, 2013. It was held in conjunction with Emergency Preparedness Week in B.C., which is held every year during the first full week of May.
The Burns Lake SAR was founded in 1967 and serves the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako.
