Over 130 seniors - including 12 from Houston and four from Telkwa - gathered at the Island Gospel Fellowship Church in Burns Lake last week for the annual Burns Lake and District Seniors Society’s picnic.
The Tweedsmuir Fiddlers played during the event, keeping seniors’ toes tapping while enjoying the barbecue hamburgers, salads and sweets. The event was originally planned to take place at Spirit Square, but was moved to the church due to the snow.
