Burns Lake student Myers Illes(L) recently returned home with a gold medal from a national science fair.
The Grade 8 student from EBUS Academy earned a gold medal in the junior category for his project 'Grey water, green plants.'
School District No. 91 was also represented by Elizabeth Schulz, Grade 11, from Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School. Schulz earned a bronze medal in the senior category for her project 'It's not black and white.
The Canada Wide Science Fair was held at McGill University in Montreal.
