A nationally-known speaker, Jessie Miller, spoke to Burns Lake students last week as part of a Youth Engagement Summit held at Lakes District Secondary School. Miller spoke about social media and online safety, encouraging students to “think before you post.” The event was hosted by the RCMP and the Child and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Collaborative.
