The Burns Lake and Houston Army Cadets held their wrap up this past Saturday at the Houston community hall.
The cadets were inspected by Joe Comeau, reviewing officer and army league representative, then paraded and saluted before the crowd on hand.
MCpl Shade Hartley received the Lord Strathcona medal for excellence in dress, deportment, physical ability and overall performance, Kim Lagimondiere received the Royal Canadian Legion medal of excellence award and Kelli Shuert received the long service medal.
