Canada 150 Skating Day celebrated

On Dec. 10, the whole country came together in one of the most Canadian of ways - enjoying a true northern winter sport, skating from coast to coast to coast. Approximately 60 Burns Lakers enjoyed the skating party held at the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena. Over 100 hot dogs and lots of hot chocolate and coffee were distributed. The event was sponsored by the Village of Burns Lake and the Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.
