Cheslatta Carrier Nation Chief Corrina Leween was recently in Ottawa meeting with senator Dennis Glen Patterson in her capcity as vice-chair for the First Nations Major Projects Coalition. Following that meeting, Chief Leween, also as vice-chair, made a presentation in Toronto at the annual Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships. Her presentation included discussion about concrete solutions on how the government can get smarter at tackling the infrastructure crisis in indigenous communities.
