College of New Caledonia (CNC) Lakes District Campus is celebrating the achievements of 94 students this year.

Students and family congregated June 3 at the First Mennonite Church to receive their awards and certificates in various programs including the Adult Education Centre (Adult Dogwood);  Administrative Assistant Certificate (ABT); Carrier Developmental Standard Term Certificate; Mining Industry Certificate; Welding B; Welding C; Industry Essential Skills and Pipeline Construction Training; Residential Building Maintenance Worker Program; Teacher Replacement Training Citation; and Outreach Advocacy Support Worker program.

Each year CNC takes the opportunity to acknowledge the hard work, creativity and academic excellence of CNC students across all campuses.

Lakes District CNC students are encouraged to apply for available bursaries and scholarships throughout the school year. Some of these substantial prizes required carefully prepared and comprehensive applications, and some awards are offered by other agencies and even provinces. Mini workshops are often conducted to help students with their applications.
