Burns Lake certainly did not disappoint with its shopping opportunities last weekend. About 650 people attended this year’s Burns Lake and District Christmas craft fair, which had almost 60 vendors. (L-R) Crystal Fisher and Frank Varga provided information about the Burns Lake Community Forest during the Christmas craft fair. Trent Allan with the Lakes District Food Bank collected donations for the 2016 holiday spirit drive. The event took place on Nov. 26 at Lakes District Secondary School. All of the proceeds - from Santa Claus photos, table rentals and raffle tickets - will go toward programming at the Burns Lake Public Library.
