Local resident Gina Strimbold caught this guy sitting on the welcome to Burns Lake sign below Mulvaney’s Pub. He was in no hurry to leave as he sat on his post for some time.
Conservation officer Mark West identified the bird as an immature bald eagle, bald eagles develop the white head at about age four to five.
