Six Lakes District Secondary School students recently attended the 21 annual project agriculture in Vanderhoof.
On the first day, the students visited the Nechako Valley Veterinary Clinic and took part in a mock auction at the Vanderhoof Auction Mart.
On their last two days they attended a safety presentation and went to twelve stations including weeds, dairy/calf barn, mini excavator or bobcat, ATV, welding, Murray Creek stream rehabilitation, post pounder, cattle handling, heavy horse, tractor with spear, light horse and hay truck.
