The Burns Lake unit of the B.C. Wildfire Service is raffling off cords of pine for a great cause. All proceeds will go to the Live It, Love It Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides empowerment through adventure and outdoor recreation for people with physical disabilities.

The organization was founded by Jeff Scott, who was born and raised in Burns Lake.

The wood will be bucked, chopped and delivered to your home. To purchase a raffle ticket, visit the Burns Lake fire base by Aug. 5 and put your name forward for a chance to win.
