Francois Tchesinkut Recreation Commission was presented with the first installment in the amount of $4823 on July 3 for the shelter and equipment project by the Nechako Kitamaat Development Fund (NKDF).
An addition to the Francois Lake Community Hall will be constructed to provide adequate storage space for equipment and a new sound system will be purchased.
Total NKDF funding for the project is $9645.73. (L-R) Mark Neave, Joan McFee, Shelley Wall, Laurie Neave and Dan Ash.
