Past local resident Gordon Hiebert traveled back to Burns Lake from Vernon recently to discuss regenerative garden design and permaculture. The public meeting was held at the Heritage Centre and a number of local residents turned up to hear how they could better design their homes and gardens to be more energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. Ecological design is the focus of his business, Element Eco-Design.
