The Lakes District Family Enhancement Society in Burns Lake will be receiving $66,300 through the B.C. Government’s Community Gaming Grants Program.
These funds will go towards purchasing food to feed people in the community where approximately 250 children and adults use the food bank twice per month.
The Lakes District Family Enhancement Society is a volunteer-run society that provides healthy, balanced food boxes for Burns Lake families.
