Both Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN) and Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund (NKDF) presented cheques to the Grassy Plains Community Hall Assn. for the hall upgrade.
Grassy Plains Hall is a well-used facility that enables local groups to host fund raisers, meetings, funerals, wedding receptions and family gatherings. The hall is key to community activities for the entire Southside area.
The NKDF cheque was in the amount of $10,000 and it was the second installment of a total approved amount of $34,443.
RDBN, from their Federal Gas Tax, cheque was in the amount of $8,548.
