Family and friends from as far away as England came to wish Burns Lake resident Alan Blackwell and happy 90 birthday at the Burns Lake Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50, on July 27, 2013.
Blackwell said that he has every intention of seeing the other side of 100, and we don’t doubt that.
