Lake Babine Nation hosted a health care information forum at the Margaret Patrick Memorial Hall two weeks ago.
The forum was open to all Lake Babine Nation members as well as members of the local community.
The aim was to show locals how many integrated services there is in the area.
According to forum organizers, the local community is fortunate to have so many enriched health services available. By holding the forum it is hoped that locals will become more aware of the services available to them.
Forum participants included Carrier Sekani Family Services, Lake Babine Nation, Village of Burns Lake, Northern Health, Burns Lake RCMP detachment and the College of New Caledonia.
