Approximately 15 people gathered at the College of New Caledonia in Burns Lake on May 11 to provide their input and learn more about the Nechako watershed.
The Fraser Basin Council has been hosting a series of community meetings across the region to discuss the health of the watershed and to ask for input on the development of a Nechako watershed strategy.
Theresa Fresco with the Fraser Basin Council said the most pressing issues in the watershed include the endangered Nechako white sturgeon and the decline of salmon.
