Burns Lake residents braved the cold weather last Friday to watch Burns Lake’s annual Christmas parade. About a dozen floats took part in this year’s parade, which featured classic characters such as The Grinch and a live nativity scene. After the parade, the community gathered at Pioneer Park to watch the Christmas tree light up and enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. The community was also able to support local businesses by wearing plaid and enjoying the late night shopping.
