Burns Lake residents Alan Sandercott (seen in the photo) and Dave Hopper are building a DC-3 model aircraft that will be donated to Baker Airport in Burns Lake. The model aircraft will be painted with the same colours of the CF-CPX, a Harrison Airways D-C3 aircraft that flew scheduled flights in and out of Burns Lake back in the early 1970s. They started the project in the summer of 2014 and they expect the project will be completed next year.
