John Rustad, MLA for Nechako Lakes, discussed the provincial budget with members of the Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce last week. The informal chat took place at Yarn & Sew On. According to Rustad, B.C. is expected to have a $1.4 billion surplus this year. With the surplus, Rustad said the province will increase healthcare investments and reduce MSP premiums.
