The village has built a gable roof over the gym entrance at the Lakeside Multiplex. The village says the roof will improve safety for users during winter, protecting them from the ice that is formed by water that drips off the roof. Since some members use the gym before regular operating hours, staff are unable to sand and clear the entryway. The 2016 capital budgeted amount for this improvement is $10,000.
