Many career fairs have a noticeable recruitment focus, while this fair, the vision of Garry Klugie, Lake Babine Nation Interschool Support Principal and teacher at K’ay Skak Learning Centre, was on career planning, and awareness of the career possibilities in the health and science fields.

Many of the 17 presenters, including Kami Griffin, Public Health Nurse, Roselind Findlay, Licenced Practical Nurse Lake Babine Nation, Sheila Sackney, B.C. Timber Sales , Petty Officer Steven Young, Canadian Armed Forces, Const.  Gunn from  Burns Lake RCMP, Red Cross  facilitator Bev Tom, representatives from the University of Northern B.C., Lynn Synotte and Priscilla Crouse from College of New Caledonia and many others, spoke and delivered presentations in the afternoon related health and science, as well as, aboriginal programs and other career possibilities.
