The Lakes District Food Bank held a ribbon-cutting event for its new location - 788 Centre Street - last week. The event was followed by the food bank’s regular distribution, which that day included barbecue and cake to celebrate the occasion. The building was recently donated to the food bank by the Village of Burns Lake.
