Lakes District Maintenance (LDM) and NAPA jointly donated $10,000 to the Lakes Outdoor Recreation Society.
Lynne Synotte, was joined by Becky Thompson, Barb Skillen, Bill Chapman, Garth Schienbein, and Bernice Magee to accept the cheque from Steve Gailing of LDM.
Next, LDM approached the Lakes District Secondary School girls soccer team with $1000 to help them pay for their recent trip to the Rossland provincial championships, as well as other travel expenses
