The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50 has recently announced the winners of the annual Remembrance Day’s poster and literary contests.

Local branch winners:

Black and white poster: Primary: 1st Nicholas Shively and 2nd Mariah Lambert. Junior: 1st Tehya Trewin, 2nd Jordan Illes and 3rd Ethan Wiebe. Intermediate: 1st Rebecca Wiebe and 2nd Alyssa Stiffler. Senior: 1st Allison Lambert. Colour poster: Primary: 1st Sabrina Dill, 2nd Brodie McPherson and 3rd Hunter Mailloux. Junior: 1st Lela Theissen, 2nd Gemma Elliott and 3rd Lucas Nicholas. Intermediate: 1st Shahla Baker. Essay Junior: 1st Gemma Elliott. Poem Junior: 1st Sydney Vantine, 2nd Regina Tracey and 3rd Hannah Zayak.
