The rainy weather last Sunday did not dampen the spirits of the crowd during the friends in the park event, which was held at Spirit Square in Burns Lake.
Organized by the Burns Lake ministerial, the event was intended to connect the Burns Lake churches with the community.
The event included musical performances, drama, children’s activities, and it gave local churches a chance to promote some of the activities and events they are planning for the community.
