Have you been avoiding the library because you know you have fines on your card? Well, here's your opportunity. Bring in a non-perishable food item for the food bank and we'll wipe the fines off your card during the month of May.
If you have books or other items that are still out, you will need to either return those or pay for the ones that are lost.
But it's an opportunity to have a fresh start and get back to using your public library.
Come to the library to catch up on all the Hollywood gossip or news with our wide selection of magazines.
Take out a movie to entertain the kids or sit for a moment and enjoy a newspaper.
And a recent addition to our collection is our video games. Now you can borrow discs for your Play Station 2 or 3, Xbox/360 or Wii.
We also would accept donations of any video games that are laying around that you would like to give to the library.

Looking for a good read? Our book club is reading "Room" by Emma Donoghue.
This novel gained a spot on the Man Booker Prize shortlist. Donoghue places the narrative in the hands of the child born into a 12’ x 12’ room, the only home he’s ever known. Five year old Jack is tremendously enticing. His mother, kidnapped seven years earlier while walking through her college campus, has created a world for her son that is rich in play, all the while anticipating the day they might make their great escape.
This environment has provided Jack with an impressive vocabulary, though his advanced learning is juxtaposed with the natural innocence and bewilderment of a small child. The result is a story told through a child’s eyes, but in language that is endearing.
